Synaescope are an Australian alternative metal band that have drawn together their djent, prog, punk and metal lineage in the 2015 EP “As The Light Fades”.

Australian heavy bands proudly champion a rich yet ragged heritage that can only be shared by crisscrossing this wide, unforgiving land, in beaten up and broken down vans.

From AC/DC, The Angels and The Saints back then, to Parkway Drive, Amity Affliction and Synaescope now.

Australian heavy music has a heritage that has shaped countless heavy bands around the world. From the small, dirty, beer-stained carpet pubs to multi-million dollar arena stages, the influence of Australian heavy music runs deep and so it continues with Australia’s own Synaescope.

Synaescope vocalist Warren Harding’s powerful presence and frame are equally matched by his captivating vocals that seamlessly shift from surging scream and growl to whispering melody, both haunting and hunting from the stage.

Synaescope rhythm section Pablo Fernandez and Kayd Anderson lock together to create machine like, pulsing grooves and riffs that rumble and grind between Kayd’s double kick drumkit, a stunning Pearl Session Studio Classic masterpiece, and Pablo’s tube driven Ampeg stacks.

Guitarists Luke Johnson and Ish Karunanayake joined Synaescope in 2014 after disbanding IWEAA. Their twin guitar synchronicity added an entirely new dimension to heavy djent stylings and melodic guitar harmony for Synaescope.

Warren proudly uses Audix microphones. Pablo is a D’addario artist and uses Spector basses and Ampeg amplification exclusively.
Luke and Ish exclusively endorse Mayones guitars.
Kayd plays Session Studio Classic Pearl drums.
